This KB Performance big bore piston kit provides everything needed to bump an 883 Sportster up to 1200cc. Sold as a set in a +.020" oversize, these pistons feature a dish head design that achieves a 10:1 compression ratio using stock cylinder heads. They are made from T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic cast aluminum with 16% silicone, allowing for tight tolerances and exceptionally quiet performance. This kit fits 1986 to 2022 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 models. Installers should note that the top compression ring requires additional clearance. Additionally, for 2004 and later 883 models, the stock cylinder liners are too thin for boring, so 1200cc cylinders must be sourced to complete the conversion.
