About This Product
The KB Performance big bore piston kit converts an 883 Sportster to 1200. It is sold as a set in standard size. The pistons are T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic aluminium with 16 per cent silicone. Compression is 10:1. They fit stock, unmodified cylinder heads. Fitment is 1986 to 2022 XL883. On 2004 and later models you must buy 1200cc cylinders. The stock 883 liners are too thin to bore. The top compression ring needs additional clearance. Follow the instructions in the box.
Manufacturer part number: KB272STD.
