JIMS special pinion shaft for 1981 to 1999 Evolution Big Twin engines running aftermarket flywheels with 1973 to 1989 style oil pumps and pinion gears. The bushing nose is longer to clear 1993 to 1999 cam covers with end oiling. You need JIMS nut 24016-80 on the flywheel side and JIMS nut 54-89 on the pinion gear side. If you have a 1990 to 1999 Evo with the stock one-piece flywheel and shaft, you must use an S&S pinion shaft conversion kit to switch to a five-piece flywheel.
