About This Product
MCS pinion shaft for Big Twin gearcase. Fits 1958 to 1972 Big Twin models. Replaces OEM 24006-58. This shaft aligns the oil pump drive and timing gears. Fit it during a bottom-end overhaul or cam service on a Panhead or Shovelhead. Inspect the bushes and check thread pitch on the gear case bolts before reassembly. Torque everything to factory spec and check for free rotation.
Manufacturer part number: 518020.
