About This Product
V-Twin starter housing replaces OEM 33121-79. It fits 1980 to 1988 FLT, FXR and Softail five-speed models. Specific applications include 1980 to 1988 FLT Touring and 1982 to 1988 FXR variants such as the FLTC, FLHTC, FXRS and FXRT. The housing locates the starter motor and sets the drive gear to ring gear clearance. Check the mounting surface for warping before fitting. Torque the bolts to spec in sequence.
