About This Product
This is the S&S Cycle gear drive cam kit for Twin Cam engines. It replaces the chain drive with gears and removes timing chain lash entirely. The kit fits Softail, Touring, and Trike models. It includes front and rear cams, gears, gaskets, and bearings. The kit also has Easy Start technology. That is a centrifugal compression release. It makes starting easier and saves wear on your starter and battery. You lose the tensioner shoes and gain more accurate valve timing.
