About This Product
Tank Cure Poly-Pox aluminium tank primer. 750ml set, sold as a set. You use it between the cleaner and the epoxy coat on aluminium tanks. It gives the epoxy something to bite into. Aluminium is slippery stuff and standard coatings struggle to grip it. This primer etches the surface and builds a chemical bond. It stands up to fuel with up to ten percent ethanol. Do not skip this step if you want the final coat to stay put and stop corrosion.
