About This Product
AV&V Extreme Duty valve guides are CNC machined from a specialized manganese bronze alloy, specifically engineered for high-performance Harley-Davidson engine builds. This material choice allows for tighter valve clearances, which facilitates superior heat dissipation and quieter operation over the engine's lifespan. Each guide features a high-temperature Viton O-ring to seal against oil infiltration between the guide and the cylinder head. The tapered and radiused nose design improves intake and exhaust airflow while simplifying the installation process. These guides include a unique Super Grip section compatible with both OEM and Viton seals. Supplied with an unfinished inner diameter, they are designed to be precision-finished using carbide reamers to achieve exact tolerances.
