About This Product
Standard Motor Products single-phase alternator stator. 45 Amp output. Fits 1997–1998 Harley-Davidson Touring models including Electra Glide and Road King. Replaces OEM 29987-97. This stock replacement sits inside the primary where heat and vibration test the windings during heavy-duty touring work. It handles the charging load with accessories fitted. Direct fit. Gets the charging system back to factory spec and keeps the battery topped up and the electrics running on long runs.
