Jims rod lapping tool. This American-made arbor assembly resizes and finishes connecting rods in the bottom end. The kit includes a complete arbor assembly plus 1 1/2-inch and 1 5/8-inch lap heads. It covers Big Twin, Sportster, K model, 45-inch, and Indian powerplants. It keeps the rod bore round and true. That matters for bearing life. Use it when the big end needs truing. Replaces OEM 96740-36.
