About This Product
This Eastern MC Parts crankshaft pinion and sprocket shaft nut replaces OEM 23902-81. It fits 1981-1985 Ironhead and early Evo Sportster models. The nut is made from aircraft-quality steel and heat-treated to 61-63 Rockwell. It secures the pinion and sprocket shafts in the bottom end. Check the threads and torque it to spec during assembly. Do not reuse a tired nut here.
