About This Product
Drag Specialties coated alternator stator for 1976-1980 FX and FL models. The coating insulates the windings from heat and oil inside the primary. It prevents shorts and gives longer service life in the primary. Test your rotor and regulator before you blame the charging system. A weak battery or poor earth can mimic stator failure and waste your time. Sold individually.
