About This Product
This is an MCS black voltage regulator and rectifier. It replaces OEM part numbers 74512-79 and 74512-79A on 1976 to 1980 Big Twin models. It mounts in the factory location. If your headlight dims at idle or the battery won't hold charge, the regulator is often the culprit. The black finish suits the engine bay. Fit it in place of the old unit, check the charging rate with a meter, and ride.
