About This Product
MCS chrome stem crown nut for OEM-style Springer forks running modern conical Timken bearings. Thread is 1 inch by 24 tpi. This nut acts as the head cone bearing guard and integrated dust shield. It keeps grit away from the steering head bearings. It replaces factory reference 48327-36, also listed as 2753-36. Fits 1939 to 1948 Big Twin models equipped with early Springer forks upgraded to late-style Timken conical bearings.
