JIMS belt tension gauge. This checks belt pre-tension on all belt-drive models that call for a 10 lbs specification. The spring-operated scale gives you a direct reading. Too loose and the belt slips. Too tight and you load the bearings. This gauge tells you exactly where you stand. It is a small tool that belongs in any toolbox. Use it every time you adjust the rear wheel or service the drivetrain.
