About This Product
MCS pivot shaft for the starter gear lever. It fits 1980 to 1988 FLT Touring models and 1982 to 1988 FXR models. It replaces OEM 31495-79 and 904171. It sits in the starter housing and carries the lever. The old shaft wears and scores. That causes binding and poor starter gear engagement. Fit this one and the lever should move freely again.
