About This Product
S&S outer valve spring for .550 inch lift. Use this on S&S Shovelhead-style heads made before November 2000. Later heads take the .590 inch lift version. It is a direct stock replacement outer spring. Install it when you are rebuilding the top end of an older S&S motor. The correct spring rate matters for valvetrain stability. Check your head date before you order.
