About This Product
MCS cast aluminium inner primary cover replaces OEM 60421-79A. It fits 1971–1984 4-speed FX and FXE. It has a natural sand-cast finish and OEM-style machining. It is reinforced and stronger than the factory original. The nine-hole design works with both eight-hole and nine-hole outer primary covers. The mainshaft support bearing and seal come already installed. Order the 1/2-20 drain plug separately as 502450, 502105, or 989296. Before fitting, check clearance on the transmission cast boss around the four mounting studs. Minor clearancing may be required for a perfect fit.
