About This Product
This is the Harley-Davidson vacuum-operated fuel valve, part number 62169-02A. It replaces the earlier 62169-02. It fits Sportster 1200 XL1200 2001-2003, XL1200C 2001-2006, XL1200L 2006, XL1200R 2004-2006, and XL1200S 2001-2003. It fits Sportster 883 XL883 2001-2006, XL883C 2001-2006, XL883HUG 2001-2003, XL883R 2002-2006, and XL883L 2005-2006. The valve mounts in the fuel tank and opens under carburettor vacuum to let fuel flow. If the diaphragm splits the bike will starve for fuel or flood the line. Check the vacuum hose for cracks before you blame the valve. Made in Japan.
