About This Product
MCS transmission countershaft oiler plug. Replaces OEM 35631-54. Fits 1954 to 1956 KH and 1957 to 1972 XL, XLH, and XLCH Sportsters. It feeds oil into the countershaft assembly. On these early gearboxes a blocked or leaking plug starves the shaft and the gears overheat. Fit a new one when you have the side cover off for a gearbox inspection. The original is often chewed up from years of service.
