About This Product
MCS transmission maindrive gear spacer. Direct replacement for OEM 35079-82A. Fits 1982 to 1984 FL and 1982 to 1985 FX rear chain drive models. It will not fit belt drive bikes. This spacer sets the maindrive gear offset and alignment. That is essential for chain life and smooth power delivery. It also helps prevent leaks at the main seal. Fit a fresh one when you replace the sprocket or rebuild the transmission.
