About This Product
MCS lower shock stud kit with zinc plating. Replaces OEM 54516-72. Fits 1956 to 1974 Sportster models. The kit covers one shock; buy two for both sides. These anchor the damper to the swingarm and see a lot of load on every bump. Check the swingarm bosses for elongation or wallowing before fitting. Torque to spec and use threadlock on reassembly. Do not run them loose or the shock will wallow out the mount.
