About This Product
MCS sprocket shaft. It fits 1956 to 1964 Big Twins with Panhead engines. This shaft carries the compensating sprocket and drives the primary. It does not fit electric start Panheads. It is for kickstart-only bikes. It replaces OEM part 24001-56. It is also part number 517975. Inspect the splines and the keyway before installation. A worn shaft will chew up a new primary chain and clutch hub.
