About This Product
MCS chrome-finished flat strip plug retainer for regulator/rectifier. It fits 1970 to 1999 Big Twin models excluding Twin Cam. It installs on the outside of the crankcase and bolts to the front motor mount bolt. It prevents the regulator/rectifier plug from vibrating apart from the alternator stator plug. That avoids common charging system failures on these models. It replaces OEM number 517774. Sold as a pack of five.
