About This Product
These MCS field coils are for 6-volt, 2-brush generators and replace OEM 30201-58A. They fit 1958 to 1964 Big Twins and 1958 to 1964 XL Sportsters. The coils are made in the USA. They are sold as a pair. Fit them when the generator stops charging and you have ruled out the brushes and armature. These are the correct coils for the original 6-volt 2-brush charging system. Check the pole shoe screws for tightness when you install them.
