About This Product
MCS transmission countershaft retainer clip. These replace OEM 35020-89 on 1991 to 2005 XL Sportster models. The clips keep the countershaft assembly properly spaced and secured inside the cases. Always use fresh retainers during any five-speed Sportster gearbox teardown or rebuild. Old clips fatigue and lose tension. They are cheap insurance against mechanical failure. Sold as a set of five.
