Removing and installing the Timken sprocket shaft bearing race in the left-side engine case is a heavy-duty job that requires a heavy-duty tool. This George's Garage race tool is designed for 1969 to 2002 Big Twin models. It provides the necessary surface area and alignment to move the race without damaging the engine case. Please note that this tool is intended to be used with the 979461 driver handle and the 979462 wedge spacer for proper operation. It is a must-have for anyone performing a full bottom-end rebuild on a classic Shovelhead or Evolution Big Twin.
