George's Garage pinion gear tool pulls pinion gears on 1939 to 1989 Big Twins and 1957 to 1976 Sportster XL models. It also installs the pressed-on splined pinion gears used on 1939 to 1953 Big Twins. You need proper mechanical advantage for these jobs. A hammer and chisel will wreck the gear and the shaft. Use this tool for the pull or the press and save yourself a headache.
