About This Product
JIMS piston ring end gap tool squares the ring in the bore for an accurate feeler gauge reading. It suits 3.875 inch and 4.000 inch bore pistons. You need this when you are building a Twin Cam or aftermarket Big Twin motor. It holds the ring flat and level so you do not get a false end-gap measurement. Gapping rings by eye or with a piston crown is a shortcut to a smoked motor.
