About This Product
Jims standard size bronze pinion shaft bushing for 1954 to 1992 Big Twin models. The outside diameter is 1.0035 inches. It has a drilled oil hole for 1954 to 1972 side-oiling motors and a slotted oil hole for 1973 to 1992 end-oiling motors. Use the Jims 978300 tool to remove the old one and the 978280 tool to install the new one. It restores correct oil flow and pinion shaft alignment.
