About This Product
This S&S steel breather gear kit is designed for managing the end play of breather gears in Harley-Davidson engines. The kit includes a selection of spacing shims that allow for precise adjustment of the breather gear's position within the crankcase. Proper spacing is critical for ensuring the breather gear is timed correctly and operates without excessive friction or noise. S&S uses high-quality steel for these shims to ensure they maintain their thickness and integrity under the constant pressure and heat of the engine environment. This kit is sold as a kit and is an essential resource for mechanics performing detailed bottom-end assembly or maintenance.
Manufacturer part number: 33-4247.
