Motion Pro black vinyl tachometer cable. The black vinyl outer casing carries mechanical tach drive signals from the engine cam cover or distributor to the gauge on Harley-Davidson models. The wound steel housing is lined to reduce friction. The inner wire is tempered to resist stretch under constant rotational load. The black finish sits discreetly against engine cases and frame tubes. Properly dimensioned end fittings and consistent housing diameter let the needle track accurately through the rev range without flutter.
