About This Product
Samwel shifter clutch for first and reverse gear. It fits 1941 to 1973 45" Flathead models with a three-speed transmission and reverse, including the Servi-Car. It replaces OEM 35442-41 and 2298-41A. The sliding dogs engage first and reverse. Wear on those dogs or the sliding surfaces makes the transmission jump out of gear. Inspect the mating parts in the gearbox before fitting. Sold individually.
Manufacturer part number: 0229803.
